Jev helps choose words
An online service picks the best sentence, meaning or sign from a short list. On unless you turn it off. Your camera pictures never leave this device. With Jev off, everything still works.
- Jev gets the dictionary words found in what you sign and type, and short sentences the app builds from your signs.
- They go to Cloudflare, which runs an AI service called Jev. Cloudflare may handle them outside South Africa.
- Jev picks the best sentence, meaning or sign from our short list. It cannot add words. For a typed word with no sign, it may pick a word with the same meaning, and the robot says so.
- Never sent: camera pictures, hand tracking, what you typed word for word, earlier messages, or words that are not in the app's word lists. A name that is also an ordinary English word may be sent.
- Jev is on unless you turn it off here.
